Our client is a successful international law firm located in the center of Brussels. They are currently looking for a temporary HR Specialist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Providing support in recruitment requests
• Logging roles in Taleo (Recruitment system) and maintaining it
• Collaborating with the recruitment team on candidate offers and ensuring the follow up
• Leading the onboarding process; organizing and presenting the induction program
• Handling employee relations matters: dealing with staff requests on HR matters, following up on office issues and escalating when necessary, taking care of disciplinary processes, etc.
• Supporting and organizing the performance evaluation process in collaboration with HR team
• Working closely with the mobility team and assisting with visa applications
• Monitoring work quality, providing feedback and Identifying process improvements where necessary
• Performing other HR-related tasks such as drafting contracts and termination letters, updating newcomers-leavers list, maintaining mentoring program, ordering luncheon vouchers and eco-cheques, ordering/renewing/cancelling public transportation subscriptions, etc.

PROFILE

• You speak fluent English and French or Dutch (ideally all three)
• You have a degree in HR, Labor Sciences or equivalent by experience
• You at least have 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a law or consulting firm
• You are a good communicator and have excellent attention to detail
• You are proactive, committed, discrete and have good time management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft is a strong asset
