Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Office Managers, Sales & Marketing Assistants and Customer Service Representatives. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.

We are currently recruiting an IT Support Specialist for one of our clients, an international Law Firm based in Brussels.
Salary package : in line with experience.


Function overview :

The IT Support Specialist delivers responsive and high-quality technical assistance to staff, ensuring reliable use of hardware, software, and network systems. This role manages end-user incidents and service requests through phone, remote, and in-person support while collaborating with IT teams to resolve issues efficiently.


The role is inclusive of, but not limited to :

  • Provide hands-on and remote support for computers, software, phones, printers, and network connections
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and firm applications
  • Maintain and test workstations, laptops, and mobile devices; ensure proper functionality and connectivity
  • Support users with remote access tools (VPN, Citrix, wireless, MDM) and conferencing systems
  • Escalate and coordinate complex issues with specialized IT teams and vendors
  • Document solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base
  • Assist with new technology rollouts, system upgrades, and office moves
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused service in all interactions


Essential Skills and Experience :

  • Fluent in English
  • 2+ years of experience in end-user technical support; law firm or professional services background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and workstation hardware
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexible hours as needed
