Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Office Managers, Sales & Marketing Assistants and Customer Service Representatives. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.
We are currently recruiting an Executive Assistant for one of our clients based in Brussels.
The role is inclusive of, but not limited to :
- Personal assistance to the Senior Director: agenda management, setting up and following up meetings and appointments, and making travel arrangements
- Support to the department: managing the departmental annual planning and departmental meetings, including preparing the agenda and elaborating/following up written accounts and action lists if so desired
- Correspondence & communication: drafting, layout, spell and grammar checking, text revision, production, and sending of presentations and internal and external correspondence
- Document and information management: managing and organizing shared servers and archives for the department
Essential Skills and Experience :
- Fluent in English and at least one other European language
- Knowledge of the financial sector: has reasonable knowledge and understanding of the different types of banks/supervisory institutions and how they are organized, and knowledge of European/international institutions
- Finance & Accounting: knows how to integrate, analyze, and report on different kinds of financial information and is capable of providing timely financial reports and updates
- Integrity, Teamwork, Communication (verbal/written), Result orientation, Application of rules and procedures, Pro-active
- Computer skills: has a high level of working knowledge using computers and applications, which allows independent drafting, editing, finalizing, storing, and disseminating of all information
